The Arkansas Wellness Collective encourages practitioners to experience each other’s work through our Practitioner Exchange program. This initiative invites wellness professionals within the network to offer a one-time discount on a service of their choice to fellow providers. By making it easier to connect firsthand with each other’s offerings, the Practitioner Exchange is designed to foster collaboration, deepen professional understanding, and support the development of meaningful, trust-based referral relationships across the community.

NOTE: All collaborations and negotiations should take place between wellness providers. The AWC platform exists to prompt network interactions, but not carry them out.

Frequently Asked Questions (about practitioner discounts)

Why do practitioners in the Collective offer discounts to each other?

Many practitioners in the Arkansas Wellness Collective choose to offer a professional courtesy discount to fellow members of the network. This practice encourages practitioners to experience each other’s work, build relationships, and develop trusted referral connections.
While this type of exchange can be a meaningful way to strengthen collaboration within the Collective, participation is entirely voluntary.

Is the practitioner discount required to join?

No. The Arkansas Wellness Collective respects that each practitioner maintains full control over how they structure their services and pricing.
Offering a practitioner discount is simply encouraged as a professional courtesy, but is not a requirement for membership.

What kind of discount do practitioners typically offer?

Many practitioners who choose to participate offer the standard network discount of 15% off one basic service for fellow practitioners. This allows other members to experience their work without creating a significant financial burden.
Practitioners are always free to decide:
– whether they offer a discount
– which service it applies to
– and how often they extend that courtesy.

Why does AWC encourage practitioner-to-practitioner exchanges?

One of the most powerful ways practitioners build trust and collaboration is by experiencing each other’s work directly.
When practitioners visit each other’s practices, it becomes much easier to make confident referrals to clients who may benefit from complementary services.
These exchanges help strengthen the Collective as a collaborative wellness community rather than simply a directory of practitioners.

Are both Community Listing practitioners and Pro Members able to participate?

Yes. Practitioners at both membership levels are welcome to offer a professional courtesy discount if they wish.
Because Pro Members tend to be more actively engaged in the network, they may be more likely to participate in these exchanges, but the opportunity is open to all members of the Collective.

If I don’t offer a discount, can I still visit other practitioners?

To maintain fairness and reciprocity within our network, participation in practitioner discounts is encouraged for members who are able to contribute something valuable in exchange. Whether that is a positive online review, a professional client referral, or an offer of equal discount on one of your own services, remember that generosity and good will keep the wheels turning. We invite you to join the exchange- it benefits everyone!

Listings also include clear instructions on how to get in touch to schedule an appointment, as well as each practitioner’s preferred method of reciprocity—whether that’s a client referral, an online review, or a comparable service—ensuring that every interaction supports a meaningful and mutually beneficial exchange of value within the network.
