Do I need to have my own website to join?
No. Many practitioners already have their own websites, but it is not required. Your Arkansas Wellness Collective practitioner page provides a professional online presence where potential clients can learn about your work.
If I already have a website, why would I want a practitioner page?
Our intention is to introduce you to a greater number of potential clients who may not have otherwise known about your practice. In becoming part of the network, we do everything we can to make sure that your first impression as a wellness practitioner is accurate, interesting, thorough and professional so that clients have a good understanding of what your wellness business can offer them before they even contact you.
How long does it take to create my practitioner page?
Once your intake form is submitted, we review your information and schedule a short phone call to ensure that all questions are answered and both parties are a good fit for the other’s goals. Most practitioner pages are created and published in the same week. You will have an opportunity to make any revisions after the first draft and then your page will be published and visible to the public.
Can I update my practitioner page later?
Yes. Your page can be updated as your practice evolves. We encourage this, as it is important that your page accurately reflects your practice. Practitioners may request one free annual update to services, photos, or contact information. Updates beyond that will be charged $25 per page update.
How long will my practitioner page stay online?
Your practitioner page will remain active on the Arkansas Wellness Collective website for as long as your membership in the network remains active.
Practitioners are welcome to remain part of the Collective for as long as it continues to serve their practice. If a practitioner chooses to step away from the network, their page will simply be removed from the directory and AWC benefits will cease. (We will maintain an unpublished copy of your page for up to1 year in case you decide to rejoin and avoid a new page build fee).
The goal of the Arkansas Wellness Collective is to build a long-term resource for Arkansans seeking trusted wellness services, and practitioners who remain active members continue to benefit from being part of that growing network.
What is expected from practitioners who join the Collective?
Members are asked to:
• Maintain an active membership
• Meet Arkansas Wellness Collective practitioner standards
• Optional: You may participate in the practitioner discount exhange, hosted by AWC, by offering a one time 15% discount on any service for fellow practitioners within the network to encourage collaboration and professional referrals.
Where can I find out which practitioners are participating in the network discount exchange?
As more wellness professionals join the network and offer a discount on their services, we will keep the network informed by updating the “Discount Exchange” page. Here, you can learn about the discounted services offered by each practitioner to fellow wellness providers in the network.
What happens if a practitioner is removed from the Collective?
The Arkansas Wellness Collective is committed to maintaining a professional and trustworthy network of wellness practitioners. For this reason, all members are asked to meet the Collective’s practitioner standards and conduct their work with integrity and respect for clients and colleagues.
In rare situations, a practitioner may be removed from the Collective if their conduct is found to be inconsistent with these standards or if they fail to uphold the expectations of membership.
If concerns arise, the Collective will typically seek to address the issue through communication and clarification whenever possible. However, if a situation cannot be resolved, the administrator reserves the right to remove a practitioner from the directory in order to protect the integrity and reputation of the network.
If a practitioner is removed, their practitioner page and listing will be taken down from the website.
The goal of this policy is not to be punitive, but to ensure that the Arkansas Wellness Collective remains a trusted resource for both practitioners and the communities they serve.
